Update
Aloha Kakakou (hawaiian for hi everybody); I'm still at my workamper job here in
Cherokee, NC (a remote RV park in the Great Smoky Mountains), which gives me a
free site in exchange for about 20 hours of work per week. The Smoky Mountains
here are amazing and inspiring. I have some NC landscape paintings in the works,
as well as still life paintings. I've also gone back to my graphite (pencil)
portraits, I couldn't help but fall in love with Harry's wedding like the rest
of the world, so I'm working on a piece with the royal couple.

Update
Aloha kakou (hi everybody), just to bring you up to date, I'm a retired 8th grade science teacher, moved from Maui to the mainland on Feb. 5, 2018, and am living full time in an RV toy hauler trailer. The mission is to follow the sun, visit all national parks and make paintings of all the beautiful and inspiring sites. I started in TX to get my truck then off to Mesa, AZ to get my Toy hauler then slowly inching my way to OK to stay with a friend and rest for a month, the trip from Maui to Ok was difficult, so much to learn about the RV and the new truck etc.. So, after a good rest, back on the road, inching my way to Cherokee, NC, where I will be working part time at a park, exploring and painting until end of Sept/beginning of Oct.. I've stopped at campsites, Graceland, truck stops... It is now April 9 and I will arrive in Cherokee, NC in about a week. Mahalo Nui Loa (thanks very much)
